CenterPoint Energy Ohio

(formerly known as Vectren Energy Delivery of Ohio)

The Standard Choice Offer (SCO) rate is based on the New York Mercantile Exchange month-end settlement price of natural gas converted to a price per Mcf using a standard Btu of 1.07, plus a retail price adjustment of $1.00 per mcf, effective April 1, 2023, through March 31, 2024. The resulting rate per Mcf will be converted to a rate per Ccf for billing purposes. The SCO is a monthly variable rate and represents costs associated with securing natural gas for CenterPoint Energy customers.

Customers who have not actively chosen a natural gas supplier receive their natural gas supply at the SCO rate from one of four suppliers: Constellation New Energy-Gas Division, Direct Energy Services, LLC, Southstar Energy Services, LLC d/b/a Ohio Natural Gas, or Spire Marketing, Inc.

CenterPoint's SCO rate is $0.3895 per ccf  - Effective December 1, 2023 through December 31, 2023.

CenterPoint's SCO rate was $0.4386 per ccf  - Effective November 1, 2023 through November 30, 2023.
